Vincent Hollows Events Thursday, Mar 6 2008

Saturday, March 1, 2008 we hosted a small fashion show in Vincent Hollows. Keely Lutrova, Tawney Bian and Mondira Cartier were the designers represented. The models all did a wonderful job, the clothing designs exhibited were magnificent. There was artwork on display by Zora Lutrova and Julianna Ella. Music provided Stang Ulysses.

Dancing and cavorting about the SIM commenced shortly after the fashion show.

Sunday, March 2, 2008 we had a mock wedding and reception. It was absolutely beautiful. The turn out was something grand. The new wedding pavilion at Vincent Hollows couldn’t have been more beautiful. Everyone enjoyed cake, champagne, dancing, walking on the beach, touring the SIM and so much more.

Keep Vincent Hollows in mind for your next wedding, fashion show or other events. Contact Zora Lutrova or Lucincia Muliaina for more information.

Events by Lana and the gang at Vincent Hollows are coming together. Tuesday, Feb 5 2008

What does a beach front property have to do with event planning? Simple, we are having a grand event to show off the wonderful work done in Vincent Hollows and to let the world see what Events By Lana can do. So mark your calenders folks, February 23rd and 24th. You guessed it! It will take two full days to pull this off. Watch for more details as they become available.

Grand opening of The Tempest Night Club Tuesday, Feb 5 2008

What a roaring success!! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and enjoyed the day with us. We will have regular events on Monday and Friday nights at the club.

Manic Mondays, come and kick back with us and dance away those dreaded Monday blues. A perfect way to end the first day of the week with good music and good friends.

Friday nights will be theme night. I will post them here on the blog, in second life events and through group notices.

One never knows what will happen any other night of the week. We may have an impromptu event, games, who knows. :)

So much has been happening since we opened. Tuesday, Jan 29 2008

Myself and the staff of EBL have just been so busy since we opened. We have done our first wedding, several club parties and have gained quite a few clients. We are now going to have to tell our clients that we need a minimum of two weeks notice, the more the better.

Learning curve lessons from the last week. Weddings are difficult no matter what you do. However, it apparently went well enough that the guests were at least pleased and there are a few weddings coming from this one in Event by Lana’s future.

We finally did it, we bit the bullet and have opened our own club. Well, first we spoke with Emer Emmons (we by the way is my business partner Stang Ulysses and my manager Julianna Ella) of Clan Flanagan. We have secured a 4 story building from her. Top floor are offices for executive members of EBL, the third floor has been named The Rose Petal and is available for clients to rent for small private events, the bottom two floors are our club. The Tempest.

We have also hired a complete staff of DJ’s, hostesses, and security. We have a dress designer on staff as well. Two of our outside contracts include J&J Fireworks (United Beck, best pyrotechnics man on second life) and Shimmering Stills owned by Shayden Dufaux, an up and coming photographer on second life. What she does with photos from there, I haven’t seen any where else.

We have several events on the back burner, client has real life scheduling conflicts to resolve. A large part for Wolf Pet Creations coming up in March, the grand opening of The Tempest on Saturday, a day long event. We are also working on a location to host a fashion show, art exhibit and much more. There are several places we are negotiating with now to host these events.

I will post more details as they become available.

Well enough late night rambling for this business woman, she needs her beauty sleep. Who would have thought than a virtual business would have so much writing and paperwork to do.

Until next time my loves! Enjoy life, it is far too short to be spent worrying about tomorrow, today is the present, a gift, treat it as such.

Events by Lana is now open for business Saturday, Jan 12 2008

After a few successful parties and events, I have decided to take a big leap and open my own business in second life. I can plan just about any event that can be thought of on second life. It will be a fun and exciting road ahead. If I am not working in the club or the pub you can probably find me in my office. Send me an IM or drop a notecard with any questions you might have. If you can dream it, I can make it happen.
