Myself and the staff of EBL have just been so busy since we opened. We have done our first wedding, several club parties and have gained quite a few clients. We are now going to have to tell our clients that we need a minimum of two weeks notice, the more the better.
Learning curve lessons from the last week. Weddings are difficult no matter what you do. However, it apparently went well enough that the guests were at least pleased and there are a few weddings coming from this one in Event by Lana’s future.
We finally did it, we bit the bullet and have opened our own club. Well, first we spoke with Emer Emmons (we by the way is my business partner Stang Ulysses and my manager Julianna Ella) of Clan Flanagan. We have secured a 4 story building from her. Top floor are offices for executive members of EBL, the third floor has been named The Rose Petal and is available for clients to rent for small private events, the bottom two floors are our club. The Tempest.
We have also hired a complete staff of DJ’s, hostesses, and security. We have a dress designer on staff as well. Two of our outside contracts include J&J Fireworks (United Beck, best pyrotechnics man on second life) and Shimmering Stills owned by Shayden Dufaux, an up and coming photographer on second life. What she does with photos from there, I haven’t seen any where else.
We have several events on the back burner, client has real life scheduling conflicts to resolve. A large part for Wolf Pet Creations coming up in March, the grand opening of The Tempest on Saturday, a day long event. We are also working on a location to host a fashion show, art exhibit and much more. There are several places we are negotiating with now to host these events.
I will post more details as they become available.
Well enough late night rambling for this business woman, she needs her beauty sleep. Who would have thought than a virtual business would have so much writing and paperwork to do.
Until next time my loves! Enjoy life, it is far too short to be spent worrying about tomorrow, today is the present, a gift, treat it as such.
